The Harpers to me are a family who defines the idea of working together for the greater good. They had never flipped a home. They’d always done work for other people. And when we met, the opportunity for them to buy their first flip house was a $50,000 property. They had $15,000. So they were literally just squeaking into this for the first time. I was a little hesitant to be quite honest. The house was not in good shape, but I was kind of taking a risk with her to see what she would do. I think she sold that house for $110,000 or $130,000 more than what she bought it for. And they did such an amazing job. And that was the beginning of our relationship. Since then we have flipped 12 houses together. She has radically changed the trajectory of not only her life, but her family’s life. She owns a storefront. She has 16 employees. They all work together as a family and they all have just benefited from the success of being entrepreneurs, being risk takers, being investors. And they’ve literally doubled the income they have from working at a store and working for other people for working for themselves.
